Shahid Kapoor posed with a giant hammer and Twitter can’t help but photoshop him as Thor

Shahid Kapoor is now the top contender to play Thor should a desi, Bollywood version ever get made.

We are sure he saw this coming as soon as he posted this picture. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor posted a picture with a sledgehammer on Saturday. Of course, all that anyone could see is how much he looks like Thor with his thundery Mjölnir.

Shahid posted the picture without any caption but his fans took care of that department. “You should have got Thor’s role. You look like superhero,” a fan wrote. “Aaj Thanos gaya kaam se (Thanos stands no chance now),” wrote another. However, some trolls took the opportunity to crack jokes at his expense. “Gareebon ka Thor (Poor man’s Thor),” wrote one.

A few fans with the power of PhotoShop modified the image to make Shahid look like the Asgardian god. Check out a few.

Others made entire lists of which Indian actor should play which Avenger now that desi Thor is locked. Shah Rukh Khan is the top contender for Iron Man/Tony Stark and Aamir Khan for Hulk/Bruce Banner. Sounds good to us.
