Actor Sharad Kelkar has dubbed for actor Vin Diesel’s character in XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

For actor Sharad Kelkar, 2017 was quite fulfilling. Whether it was playing the lead antagonist in Sanjay Dutt-starrer Bhoomi or an extended cameo in Baadshaho, the actor received a lot of praise. However, he says that dubbing for Prabhas’ character in Baahubali: The Conclusion has been the most enriching experience.

Though Sharad had lent his voice to Baahubali’s character in the first instalment of the film, too, he says that it’s only after the second instalment that he got his due recognition. “It’s nothing short of an achievement,” says Sharad, adding, “[It feels great] to be a part of a film that has earned ₹500 crore. [It feels as if] you are now in history books or [your name has been written] in the history of Indian cinema.”

The actor, who has a two-year-old daughter with wife, actor Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar, says that he can proudly tell his daughter about this movie. “I can probably say this to my daughter that your dad has somewhat been part of a ₹500 crore film.”
