Actor John Abraham has started shooting for his next film Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998 and is currently being shot in Delhi. John also took to social media to announce the start of the film.

The shooting took place in a residential area at Tolstoy Marg, near Connaught Place in Delhi. Actor Boman Irani was also spotted shooting with John and soon after the camera set-up was ready, huge crowd had gathered around the area. In fact, Boman was shooting for a scene where he was sitting in a car and between the shot, the car broke down right in the middle of the road. In no time, Boman was surrounded by fans on all sides and the bouncers had to intervene to control the situation. The team has been shooting in Delhi since two days and will move to Manali soon.
