Shirish Kunder’s short film Kriti was released online on Wednesday afternoon
Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Neha Sharma and Radhika Apte, the 19-minute film is about a psychotic writer Sapan (Manoj), his creations and his psychiatrist Kalpana (Radhika).
A well-knit and taut psychological thriller, Kriti is as much about the shocking turn of events in the story as it is about the smallest of details in every frame. And that’s what makes it engrossing.

Talking at the launch, Manoj said, “Short film is a way to think out of the box and Shirish Kunder is the right person for this. Kriti is a thriller and psychological drama - one of my favourite genres.”

The guest of honour at the event, Kangana said, “This film was such an intense experience. This is such an amazingly written, directed and performed piece of art. I am so happy that I am getting to launch a film made on a very big scale. I am happy that Shirish thought of something so progressive. I loved it, it is so spooky.”
