Watch: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s first ever dance number in Freaky Ali

The first song of Freaky Ali was released Friday evening and it shows Nawaz shaking a leg for the first time onscreen. Titled Din Mein Karengey Jagrata, Siddiqui is seen grooving to the beats of Sajid-Wajid in the video.

Sohail Khan’s Freaky Ali will be the third film in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the lead (his earlier ventures being Raman Raghav 2.0 and Manjhi), but going by the promos, this is certainly Nawaz’s first ‘commercial Bollywood masala’ film. But as they say, you can’t be a Bollywood hero unless you can do a song & dance number.

Penned by Shabbir Ahmed, the song is sung by Wajid, Divya Kumar and Swati Sharma.

The film traces the story of an extortionist who turns into a star golf player in a bid to win over the love of his life. Arbaaz Khan will also be seen in the film.

Amy Jackson will be seen opposite Siddiqui. She was earlier seen in Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bliing. Arbaaz Khan and Jas Arora are also playing important roles in the film.

Freaky Ali will hit the screens on September 9, 2016.
