India is likely to allow duty free imports of raw sugar for domestic sales within two weeks, the farm minister, Sharad Pawar, said on Tuesday.

"The government will allow duty free raw sugar imports in the next 10 to 15 days. Production figures are not very encouraging," Pawar told reporters.
