Ahead of its launch, expected to take place at the upcoming Auto Expo in Greater Noida, the new generation of Hyundai's Aura subcompact sedan is open for bookings. Customers can book the new, facelift version of Aura for a token amount of ₹11,000.

“Presenting the new Hyundai AURA that is trendier and more stylish than ever. Now feel the pride of driving the modern sedan. Bookings open,” tweeted Hyundai India on Tuesday.
The Korean auto giant is, however, yet to reveal the pricing details of the car. The announcement is likely to happen later this week.

According to HT Auto, Hyundai has given a series of updates in this sedan, the first for Aura since its debut in 2019. In terms of design, the new model sports changes like auto headlamps, new 15-inch alloy wheels, tweaked front bumper, painted black radiator grille etc.

Inside the cabin, there are updated features such as a new 3.5-inch driver display, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay; wireless charging, USB-C type charging ports, footwell lighting etc. For passenger safety, meanwhile, there are 4 airbags (with the option to add 2 more), burglar alarm, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, cruise control etc.

For powertrain, there are 2 engine options. One is a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol unit (83 PS power, 113.8 Nm torque), while the other is a CNG version with a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel petrol unit (69 PS power, 95.2 Nm torque). The company will offer the model in 6 colours, including a new one called the ‘Starry Night.’
