The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released its latest data on the Indian electric two-wheeler (E2W) market, with TVS Motor Company securing the No. 1 spot in total retail sales for November 2025. It clinched the lead from Bajaj Auto after moving 30,347 units last month, registering a 2.82 per cent month-on-month uptick in sales from the 29,515 units sold in October 2025. This comes amid an overall decline in retail performance for the E2W space, with total volumes dipping by 18.70 per cent MoM.
The Hosur-based manufacturer registered an 11.02 per cent year-on-year growth in retail sales, marking a difference of 3,012 units compared to the 27,335 units sold in the same month last year. It is currently the only player among the legacy brands to show a positive monthly performance in retail sales. TVS sells three electric scooters in India: iQube, X, Orbiter. Prices range from ₹1.05 lakh for the TVS Orbiter and go as high as ₹2.65 lakh for the TVS X (both ex-showroom).

Bajaj Auto has slipped down to second overall in November 2025 retail sales after moving a total of 25,565 units. With this, the Indian manufacturer registers an 18.18 per cent MoM decrease when compared to the 31,246 units sold in October 2025. The company sold 854 fewer units from the same month last year, reflecting a 3.23 per cent YoY drop in retail performance.

Indian E2W market declines
FADA data reflected a sharp decline in overall retail performance for the E2W market in November 2025, with total volumes reaching 1,16,982 units to mark a YoY decline of 2.51 per cent compared to the 1,19,998 units sold in the same month last year. With 26,905 fewer units sold compared to the 1,43,887 in October 2025, the market registered an overall MoM decline of 18.70 per cent.
Ather Energy retained its third overall spot in November 2025 with 20,349 units in retail sales, despite recording a 27.59 per cent decline from October. Compared to the 12,963 units sold in the same month last year, it registered a YoY uptick of 56.98 per cent.
Having sold 12,213 units, Hero MotoCorp showed a 66.12 per cent YoY increase compared to the 7,352 units in November 2024. It clinched the No. 4 spot from Ola Electric, as the latter continues its downward trend. Ola sold 20,920 fewer units compared to the same month last year, marking a massive 71.35 per cent reduction in retail volumes.
