An Ultraviolette F77 owner has crossed the 1 lakh km mark with only 4% battery degradation, offering a real-world indication of long-term reliability for the electric motorcycle. The owner, Harish Surampade, completed the milestone in 17 months of regular use.

According to Ultraviolette, the battery pack on Harish’s F77 retained 96% health even after the 100,000 km run. The company estimates that the rider saved 4,59,009 in fuel costs over this period compared to running a petrol-powered motorcycle.

Ultraviolette co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam described the milestone as significant for electric touring, noting that the F77 was developed to challenge typical assumptions around EV durability. Co-founder and CTO Niraj Rajmohan added that the battery system was engineered for long-term consistency and performance, and that the results align with the company’s internal testing data.

Tested Across Extreme Terrains and Temperatures

The F77 Mach 2 uses a 7.1 kWh battery pack. Ultraviolette claims an IDC range of 211 km on a full charge. The electric motor develops a peak power output of 27 kW and peak torque of 90 Nm. The motorcycle has a top speed of 155 km/h. Acceleration figures include 0–60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0–100 km/h in 7.8 seconds.
