Three people, including an elderly couple, died after the car they were travelling in met with an accident near Khanpur Koliyan village on NH-44 in Kurukshetra on Tuesday, said police.
The deceased, identified as Brij Bhushan, 83, his wife Kanta, 80 and their driver, Bharat, all from Nangloi area in Delhi, they added.
Police said the incident happend when the car reportedly hit the divider near Khanpur Koliyan village on NH-44 in Kurukshetra when they were travelling to Chandigarh in their Delhi-registered Honda Amaze to meet some relative when the accident happened.
A police team from Dial 112 and Thaesar Sadar police station reached the spot and sent the bodies to the civil hospital.
