Haryana development and panchayat minister Krishan Lal Panwar on Monday said that the state government will celebrate the 649th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas on January 31 at Umri in Kurukshetra district. He said that chief minister Nayab Singh Saini and Union power minister Manohar Lal will attend the function as chief guests. Panwar said that all ministers, MLAs, and other public representatives of the state government will be invited to the state-level function, besides social and religious organisations.

HSVP to conduct e-auction of residential, commercial properties by Jan-end
CHANDIGARH : The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has said that the e-auction for residential and commercial (preferential) sites of all zones, along with nursing home sites, clinic sites, and all school sites, will be held on January 28. Similarly, the e-auction for residential and commercial (general) sites in Gurugram and Rohtak zones will be conducted on January 29. The e-auction for residential and commercial (general) sites in Faridabad district, Hisar, and Panchkula zones will be held on January 30. Following September 19, 2025, amendments in the e-auction policy on of the HSVP, it is mandatory to submit minimum two Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) for major sites, including commercial sites, hotel sites, and multi-storey buildings and the e-auction of these sites will be conducted on January 31, an official spokesperson said.
