Delhi woman Congress leader transfers her four-storied house to Rahul Gandhi

Delhi Congress leader reportedly transferred her house to former member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi.

Delhi women Congress Sevadal president, Rajkumari Gupta, has transferred her house in Mangolpuri area, which she reportedly “received” at the time of late prime minister Indira Gandhi, to former member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi.

“President of Delhi Mahila Congress Seva Dal, Smt. Rajkumari Gupta ji has given her house in Mangolpuri area in the name of Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, she got this house at the time of Indira Gandhi ji. Rajkumari ji said that Modi ji can drive Rahul ji out of the house, but not from the hearts of the people (sic),” Congress Sevadal informed in a tweet in Hindi on April 1.

The news comes amid the grand old party’s campaign ‘Mera Ghar, Aapka Ghar’ to symbolically dedicate their home to Rahul Gandhi who has been asked to vacate his official bungalow in Delhi following his disqualification as a Lok Sabha member after a Surat court convicted him in 2019 ‘Modi surname’ defamation case.
