Noida: The Noida authority, and the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) will mark their upcoming foundation days by inaugurating and laying foundation stone of the key projects respectively, officials said on Wednesday.

Noida was founded on April 17, 1976 and this year marks its Golden Jubilee while the Yamuna Authority that was founded on April 24, 2001, will celebrate its silver jubilee this year, they added.
Officials said that the Noida authority’s main administrative building in Sector 96 will be inaugurated on April 17, and the foundation laying of the Film City project in the Yeida area will be held on April 24.
The two industrial bodies have invited chief minister Yogi Adityanath for the special occasion, said officials.
Krishna Karunesh, CEO Noida authority, said, “We are compiling number of projects which will be inaugurated and those new projects whose foundation will be laid. The Authority’s main administrative building in Sector 96 is ready and it will be inaugurated on Foundation Day on April 17. There are some other projects including the Clock Tower near GIP Mall which will be inaugurated. The list of all of these projects is not final as it is being prepared.”
RK Singh, CEO of Yeida said, “Yeida will organise a three-day celebration in the Film City on Foundation Day. And the entire event’s schedule is being finalised.”
