For a second day in a row, the Delhi Legislative Assembly received a bomb threat e-mail in the wee hours of Wednesday, which was later declared a hoax.

The e-mail was received by the Speaker’s officer on special duty (OSD) around 2am, an officer said.

The officer said the e-mail mentioned the names of a few politicians and cases against them.
The Delhi Legislative Assembly office, the Speaker Vijender Gupta’s office, and the Vidhan Sabha metro station office received hoax bomb threat e-mails on Tuesday morning, just hours before chief minister Rekha Gupta was slated to present the Delhi budget.
