Australia women's team wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy issued a clarification of her photo post after being brutally trolled by Indian fans. The right-handed opening batter, who also happens to be the wife of Australia men's team pacer Mitchell Starc, asked the fans to 'relax' and requested them to 'stop trying to read anything into it.' Healy found herself in the middle of a social media stir after she posted a photo of a boat, which had 'salty' written on it after Australia defeated India in the gold-medal match at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

While Healy's photo didn't have a caption, many fans perceived the word 'salty' to be a dig towards their complaints about Tahlia McGrath playing the final for Australia despite testing positive for Covid-19.
"Relax everyone. It’s a photo of a boat in the water with the name Salty. I thought it was clever. Stop trying to read anything other into it. But if it makes you feel better to reply cruelly go nuts. Water off a ducks back!" Healy tweeted on Tuesday quoting her photo post from Monday.

The veteran cricketer was previously trolled by Indian fans for criticising the Indian men's cricket team for their repeated complaints about strict quarantine rules during their last tour to Australia in 2020-21.
