India were 190 for two in their second innings, at stumps, on day three of the first cricket Test against South Africa on Saturday.

India still trail South Africa by 294 runs with eight wickets in hand.

Brief Scores: India 1st Innings: 136 all out; South Africa 1st Innings: 620 for 4 declared in 130.1 overs (Jacques Kallis 201 not out, A B de Villiers 129, Hashim Amla 140; Harbhajan Singh 2/169, Ishant Sharma 2/120). India 2nd innings: 190 for two in 44.1 overs (Gautam Gambhir 80, Virender Sehwag 63; Paul Harris 1/34).
