- Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan notched the most century partnerships against Australia in ODIs. The duo have strung five hundred-plus century stands.

- Rohit and Dhawan now have the joint third most century stands with Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes. Both the opening pairs have notched 15 century stands in ODIs.

- The Indian opening pair has the joint fifth most century stands among all pairs in ODI cricket. Along with Dhawan-Rohit, Gordon Greenidge-Desmond Haynes and Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara have notched 15 hundred-plus stands.
