Mahmudullah and Tamim Iqbal were the stars for Bangladesh as they registered a thrilling win over Sri Lanka in the final Nidahas Trophy T20 league match in Colombo on Friday. The match was filled with drama as tempers flared in the final over but the visitors were able to clinch the match by two wickets. Mahmudullah scored a brilliant 43 off just 18 deliveries. Earlier, Kusal Perera and Thisara Perera scored fifties to guide Sri Lanka to a competitive total of159/7 after a horrible start to their innings. Mustafizur Rahman struck twice while Shakib Al Hasan, Mehedi Hasan, Rubel Hossain and Soumya Sarkar took one wicket each. Bangladesh will face India in the final.
