Kanishk Chouhan is an Indian right-handed all-rounder who bowls right-arm off-break. Born in Alasan, Jalore, Rajasthan, he developed through Haryana's age-group cricket system before earning recognition with India Under-19. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball has made him a valuable option in the middle order, particularly in limited-overs cricket.
Chouhan made a strong impression during India's Under-19 tour of England in 2025, scoring 114 runs and taking eight wickets across five Youth ODIs. He continued his progress during the Under-19 Asia Cup later that year, producing an all-round performance against Pakistan with 46 runs and three wickets. The display highlighted his ability to influence a match in both departments and strengthened his standing in India's junior setup.
His performances earned him a place in India's squad for the 2026 ICC Under-19 World Cup, where he played a role in the team's title-winning campaign. He again delivered against Pakistan in the Super Six stage, scoring 35 off 29 balls and taking a wicket as India secured a place in the semi-finals. Chouhan also contributed in the final against England, scoring a brisk 37 off 20 balls before taking two wickets, helping India finish the tournament as champions.
Chouhan's progress was further rewarded when Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed him for INR 30 lakh at the IPL auction. The opportunity placed him alongside an established franchise setup and offered a pathway to learn from experienced players. Although he did not get a game, he made his first-class debut for Haryana in the 2026/27 Ranji Trophy against Himachal Pradesh, where he scored his maiden fifty and also picked up two wickets, earning the player of the match award.
