Pujara leads Indian Oil to victory in nail-biting final

Riding on a top score of 83 from Cheteshwar Pujara, the Indian Oil Corporation held their nerve to win a tight contest and take the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy 2010.

Riding on a top score of 83 from Cheteshwar Pujara, the Indian Oil Corporation held their nerve to win a tight contest and take the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy 2010. Though India Cements fought to the death, with a late surge from Somashetty Suresh (46) raising hopes, Indian Oil squeaked home by 3 runs.

Batting first, Indian Oil scored 268 for 8. Pujara was well supported by Paresh Patel (54) and Ravikant Shukla (60). In response, India Cements began well, with Abhinav Mukund and KB Arunkarthik putting on 81. When they both fell nearing the half-century mark, Indian Oil got back in the game and held their nerve.

Brief scores: Indian Oil 268 for 8 (Pujara 83, Paresh Patel 53, Ravikant Shukla 60, Yo Mahesh 3-37) beat India Cements 265 by 3 runs.
