The saga of Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing and betting scandal will continue on Monday with the Supreme Court (SC) resuming the hearing on the case.

Suspended Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president N. Srinivasan will also resume his battle to return to power, even as the Supreme Court came down hard on him for his role in the ongoing controversy.

The apex court has raised issues of conflict of interest against Srinivasan, after Gurunath Meiyappan, his son-in-law and a high-ranking official of the Chennai Super Kings, was indicted for betting during IPL 2013. On Monday, Srinivasan's counsel Kapil Sibal will argue the case for the embattled BCCI chief.
