Why the India vs England Vizag Test has gone to the dogs

MIchael Vaughan, cricketers and fans alike are posing with dogs and posting those pictures on social media on the sidelines of the India vs England Vizag (Visakhapatnam) Test.

Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara’s ton, the highlight of India’s first innings in the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam, is big, no doubt. But neither the Indian skipper nor Pujara can stake the claim as the top dog of Vizag Test. For the moment, at least.

Drumroll! That honour goes to, well, to the “Vizag dog”, who, by the way, already has a twitter account in his name — @VizagDog.

@VizagDog even conducted a twitter poll on Thursday, asking his ever-expanding followers list which the ‘best ton of the day was’ -- Virat Kohli’s 167, Cheteshwar Pujara’s 119, or his triple-figure followers on Twitter (which, by the way, is on the rise as we speak).

And speaking about top dogs, tweets are doing the rounds of players, media persons and fans clicking pictures with dogs in the ADA-VDCA Stadium — yes, the kind of photographs fanboys click with celebritites and post it on social media.

Michael Vaughan, for instance, posed with the security dog in Vizag. Not good enough Mikey!

Hey guys, make sure you click with the real Vizag Dog. The others, be it canine security squad members, or, pedigree pooches, will never get you the eyeballs.

For there is only one top dog in Vizag and you know who that is!
