Unidentified foreign national found dead near MG Road in Delhi
The Delhi Police said there were no apparent external injury marks on the body and they were still trying to ascertain the identity of the victim.
A foreign national was found dead near MG Road in Delhi on Monday morning. The person was about 30-35 years of age, however, the identity and cause of death is yet to be ascertained, a senior police official said.

Prima facie no foul play is suspected but the police said they were awaiting post mortem reports.
“We received a call about a dead body near Ahinsa Sthal at 7.40am. On the receipt of this information, local police rushed to the spot and found the body of an African lying on the pavement, close to DDA’s ridge area,” said Romil Baaniya, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Delhi Police.
Mehrauli Police Station has initiated an inquest in the matter.
“Apparently, there was no any external injury mark found on body during initial investigation,” he said further.
Delhi Police is making all efforts to identify the person. “Intimation had been sent to different embassies. Body has been sent to the mortuary to be preserved,” said Baaniya.
