The deceased were identified as Priyanshu, 21 of Bhaur Colony and Amit, 22, of Shastri Colony in Faridabad.

The incident took place near the residence of Faridabad MP and Union minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar in Sector 28.

Police said Akash, 26, who allegedly sells liquor illegally had an argument with the victims one the road that divides Sector 28 and Sector 29 late on Sunday night.

Following the argument, the accused attacked the duo with a pair of scissors. Police recovered the body of Priyanshu lying on the road on Sunday night. The body was sent to BK hospital for post-mortem. The body had stab wounds.

On Monday, some passersby called up the police about a body lying in the bushes near the spot from where Priyanshu’s body was found. The cops from Old Faridabad police station rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. It also had similar stab injuries like the ones on Priyanshu’s body. The victim was later identified as Amit Kumar of Shastri Colony, Faridabad.

“My brother worked in a courier firm. We don’t know what grudge Akash had against my brother?” Golu said. The dispute over illegal liquor trade has not been ruled out as the probable cause behind the incident.

“Akash was involved in sale of illegal liquor,” alleged Golu but he denied that his brother was too involved in the business.

Police are yet to arrest the accused even as the victim’s family has threatened to hold a protest if the accused was not arrested within 12 hours.

“ We are investigating the incident and efforts are on to arrest the accused,” said CIA Inspector Jasbir Singh.
