As the centre reviews the situation in Delhi, we bring you a primer on Chikungunya and Dengue, two vector-borne diseases spread by mosquitoes.

As the death toll from chikungunya mounts to 7 in the national capital, the Delhi government and the centre have been trading blame. More than 1,057 cases of chikungunya and 1,158 cases of dengue were reported in the national capital till September 10, the month when vector-borne diseases start to peak.
