IAF MiG 29 crashes in Assam, pilots safe

A MiG 29 trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in Tinsukhia district of Assam on Wednesday, IAF officials said in New Delhi. The pilots ejected safely before the crash.

According to initial reports received at the IAF headquarters in New Delhi, the crash took place at 10.35 am The pilots, Squadron Leader Sukandi and Flying Officer Nanda, ejected from the aircraft before it crashed.
