Best online MBA programmes in India for working professionals: What to consider before choosing
The admission process has been opened based on Class 12 marks, after students who applied through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) received their preferred colleges and courses.
What DU Registrar said about admission via Class 12 marks
While speaking to ANI, Delhi University Registrar Vikas Gupta explained the admission process. He said that when admission happens via CUET, the varsity prioritises the student's choice; they select their preferred college and course from a pool of around 1,500 options. Students make their own choices—some opt for colleges near the campus, while others choose those on the outskirts, such as Jesus and Mary, Maitreyi, Gargi, or Kamala Nehru. The varsity prioritises the highest marks obtained in the exam. They receive their preferred college based on that ranking."
Three more DU colleges open UG admissions based on Class 12 marks to fill vacant seats
Gupta further said that the admissions being considered based on Class 12 marks are separate from CUET admissions and will be restricted to courses and colleges with vacant seats.
Since last week, this is the third list the university has issued to fill vacant seats based on Class 12 marks, not CUET marks. The notices dated August 20, 21 and 23 can be checked on the varsity's website.
