Assam HS 12th Result 2022: 92.19% pass AHSEC class 12th exam Science stream

This year, the practical test was held from February 21 to March 10 and the Assam HS examination was conducted from March 15 to April 12. The Assam class 12th or high school test has been conducted in two shifts, from 9 am to noon and from 1: 30 pm to 4: 30 pm.

A total of 156107 students took the Higher Secondary Exam in the Arts stream, and 130324, or 83.48 percent of them, passed. The top two students received 487 marks from Sadhana Devi of Kamrupa Girls' Senior Secondary School and Cherry Gohain of Women's College Tinsukia.

In the Science stream, a total of 33534 students took the exam, and 30915 of them, or 92.19 percent, were declared pass. Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita, a student from Deomoroni High School, took first place with 491 marks.

Last year a total of 2,49,812 candidates registered for the examination out of which 38430 candidates were from Science stream, 191855 were from Arts stream, 18443 were from the Commerce stream and 1081 students were from the Vocational course. The examination was to be conducted in 820 exam centres across the country. Last year, 98.93% of students passed the exam overall.
