Five students of Allen Career Institute in Rajasthan’s coaching hub of Kota on Monday bagged six all-India ranks (AIRs) among the top 10 in NEET result 2018, its director said.
Rohan Purohit, Prince Chaudhary, Varun, Krishna, Madhvan Gupta and Ramneek scored AIRs 2, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 respectively. Except for Chaudhary, the other top rankers in NEET result 2018 are Allen’s distance learning students.
Allen’s classroom students Amulya Gupta, Sangeet Rathi and Shlok Veeral Patel also secured AIR 20, 22 and 24 respectively.
The institute’s director Brajesh Maheshwari said their students once again proved their mettle and that they along with their faculty deserve accolades. Maheshwari said the final rank would be announced only after the completion of compilation of the NEET result 2018.
Last year, Allen’s students bagged six all-India ranks (AIR) in NEET among the top 10 and 12 among top 20.
Delhi resident Kalpana Kumari scored the highest percentile of 99.99 in NEET 2018, the nationwide exam held to select students for undergraduate medical and dental courses.
More than 13 lakh candidates registered for NEET 2018 on May 6 compared to 11.5 lakh last year, according to the board’s figures. There are 60,000 seats in medical and dental institutes across the country.
