The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu declared the Tamil Nadu HSC first year result on Wednesday. Students can check their result on the official websites: tnresults.nic.in

The pass percentage this year was 91.3%. Of the 8,63, 668 candidates who appeared for the exam, 7,73,844 passed. Girls performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was 94.6% and among boys was 87.4%.
Erode district had the highest pass percentage (97.28%), followed by Thirupur (96.40%) and Coimbatore (96.19%).

Tamil Nadu’s directorate of government examinations had declared the result of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC +2) or Class 12 board examinations on May 16. Of the 860,434 students who appeared for the exams, 7,84,081 cleared it.
The result of the Senior School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 examination result was announced on May 23. According to the directorate, 94.5% students, including 96.4% girls and 92.5% boys, cleared the exam.
