Bharatiya Janata Party's Glenn Souza Ticlo grabbed a total of 9,405 votes, while Indian National Congress's Amarnath Panjikar got 4,949 votes. Aam Aadmi Party's candidate Rosy Ursula D'souza bagged 3,272 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 43.9%, 23.1% and 15.3% respectively.
In Goa Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Ticlo Glenn J V A E Souza outperformed Indian National Congress's Dayanand G. Narvekar by 3,476 votes.
