Bharatiya Janata Party's Arunsinh Ajitsinh Rana secured a total of 72,331 votes, while Indian National Congress's Patel Sulemanbhai Musabhai got 69,703 votes. Independent candidate Gohil Fatesangbhai Raysangbhai grabbed 5,601 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 48.2%, 46.5% and 3.7% respectively.
