Singh is contesting his fourth election from Naduan - a seat he won in 2003, 2007 and 2017. The veteran state leader - he served as state chief of the party's student and youth wings, and as leader of the primary unit, Singh is battling to keep the BJP at bay in the home district of union minister Anurag Thakur and his father, ex chief minister Prem Kumar Dhamal.
