Bharatiya Janata Party's Leishangthem Susindro Meitei got a total of 15,005 votes, while Indian National Congress's Dr. Ngairangbam Bijoy Singh got 13,061 votes. Communist Party Of India's candidate R.K.Amusana grabbed 800 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 52.0%, 45.2% and 2.8% respectively.
