Bharatiya Janata Party's Laishram Radhakishore Singh got a total of 12,029 votes, while Indian National Congress's Dr. Irengbam Ibohalbi Singh got 11,186 votes. Nationalist Congress Party's candidate Khundrakpam Romio grabbed 1,030 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 49.2%, 45.8% and 4.2% respectively.
