Uttar Pradesh Election 2022: Constituencies List

The 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections have been termed as the semi-final to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The state has 403 assembly constituencies in total. In 2017 UP polls, the BJP won over 300 seats despite not announcing a CM candidate. This time, Yogi Adityanath was declared the chief minister with Prime Minister Narendra Modi repeatedly emphasising on double engine government during his poll campaign. see more

India's most populous state has over 15 crore voters. Polling started in UP with the 58 districts of the Jat-dominated western belt on February 10. The seventh and final phase took place on March 7. The voting for all the assembly constituencies - spread across 75 districts - has been divided in seven phases.

Yogi Adityanath contested his first Assembly polls from his stronghold Gorakhpur, his key challenger Akhilesh Yadav too contested his first election from Samajwadi stronghold Mainpuri's Karhal. Noida, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Ayodhya and Mathura are some of the constituencies that headlined the UP assembly elections 2022.

UP assembly polls results were declared on March 10.
