Abhishek Bachchan has finally broken silence over people's judgemental attitude towards wife Aishwarya's weight gain post pregnancy: "I just think it's extremely insensitive and no one has the liberty to speak about her like the way they sometimes do..."

Abhishek Bachchan has finally broken silence over people's judgemental attitude towards wife Aishwarya's weight gain post pregnancy.

"I just think it's extremely insensitive and no one has the liberty to speak about her like the way they sometimes do. Yes, she's a public figure, but people forget she's also a woman and now a mother and there's a line that's not to be crossed. I don't talk that way about any woman ever and it's obviously not graceful for anyone to talk about her like that either," the actor told DNA.

"But may be that's expecting too much, so to be honest, we kind of not let it affect us at all. Like Aishwarya always says, 'negativity is like one drop in a huge ocean of positivity' and we'd rather be happy about the love and blessings we get," the tabloid quoted Junior Bachchan as saying.

Abhi-Ash became proud parents of daughter Aaradhya on November 16 last year. "She's great fun. She's such a blessing, we can't thank God enough for her. She's really a sweet child," he told the daily candidly about Beti B.

Aishwarya has till date managed to prevent any prying eye from catching a glimpse of her seven-month-old daughter. Recently grandmom Jaya revealed to BBC: "Aaradhya looks like a bit of Aishwarya and a bit of Abhishek. Aaradhya is not intimidated to faces. She is beautiful. I call her Strawberry because when she was born she reminded me of a strawberry. She is always smiling. Touchwood. Now she's trying to crawl and it's special to us."
