Alia Bhatt launched the trailer of her next film, Darlings, on Monday. The actor, who is expecting her first child with husband Ranbir Kapoor, attended the trailer launch in a loose yellow dress, making a successful attempt at hiding her baby bump. Later, Alia changed into a black floral sharara and yet again, almost managed to hide her baby bump. A paparazzi account has shared a video of Alia looking for a spot to pose for pictures after the trailer launch. She walks around to find the perfect light needed for pictures. After posing near some greenery, she moves to another corner for more pictures. And continues to pose in the flared kurti and sharara with her dupatta and hands strategically placed in front. Needless to say, the actor looked stunning as she paired the look with a tiny bindi on her forehead and jhumkas.
However, most of her fans claimed she failed to hide her baby bump despite several attempts. Alia announced her pregnancy last month. She and Ranbir tied the knot in April at his Mumbai home. Alia now marks her debut in production with Darlings, co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. It is a dark comedy that also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew and will start streaming on Netflix from August 5.
