The seemingly invincible Ekta Kapoor is a little rattled these days. Days after dad Jeetendra asked for her security to be beefed up after she was almost run over by a car, her security agency has slapped a legal notice on Ekta.
TOPS group, which has been providing security to Ekta and Balaji Telefilms, has sued soap queen Ekta for non payment of pending dues.
TOPS group has alleged that Balaji Telefilms has not payed a whopping amount of Rs 52 Lakhs since 2002. TOPS group has also threatened to drag the production house and Ekta to court.
While the TOPS group is standing firm on their allegations, Balaji has rubbished all its claims. The CEO of Balaji Telefilms told

, "They have been sending reminder calls and notices for the last 20 days and they claim that we haven’t paid them since 2002. How is it possible? Balaji is a reputed company and we have never stopped any payments for whatever reasons. We also have a ‘no claim’ certificate signed by the officials of the TOPS group, saying that they have received the payment."
Buzz is that within 24 hours TOPS group withdrew security from the premises and are threatening to withdraw Ekta's personal security as well.
