Halle Berry takes ex-beau to court for trying to make daughter 'white'

The 48-year-old actor was so furious at Aubry for straightening the 6-year-old's naturally-curly hair, and lightening it with highlights, that she dragged him to court as she is certain he wants the girl not to look African American.

Halle Berry has slammed her former partner Gabriel Aubry for trying to make their daughter Nahla white.

Though Berry didn't attend the court, her lawyer Steve Kolodny was present along with Gabriel and after a long hearing, the judge has forbidden both the parents from changing Nahla's natural look.

The bickering exes share the custody of Nahla post their split in 2010.

Berry is currently married to French actor Olivier Martinez and the couple has a son, Maceo.
