The 40-year-old singer and actress blushed and held her head in her hands as a clip from 1990, her first ever TV appearance - as a dancer auditioning for MC Hammer, was shown on George Lopez's Lopez Tonight Show, reported Daily Mail online.
Holding her head in her hands, and covering her face in embarrassment, she screamed, "That was so mean. That's so hysterical. That's MC Hammer, he was not even known then."
The actress was an unknown when she got the gig and the clip shows her gyrating while dressed in a black cropped top, matching pants and dance tights.
"I was dancing in a dance school in Manhattan and they came for Yo! MTV Raps which was just starting out then. They came up and they were like, 'We need a few of your girl dancers for behind them when they are talking.' and I was like 'Oh yeah, let me get up in there'," said Lopez.
Although she never went on to tour with MC Hammer, Lopez gained her first regular high-profile job as a 'Fly Girl' dancer on the television comedy programme In Living Colour which also starred Jim Carrey the same year. She went on to become a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and made an appearance in her 1993 video That's the Way Love Goes.
