“Mujhe bahut nawaza hai upar wale ne… I never thought in my wildest dreams that after reaching Mumbai an amazing journey is awaiting me! I truly feel blessed when kids and elders identify me and ask for pictures. I think, I have been able to achieve what I wanted. Getting to play diverse characters according to my set parameters has worked for me,” says the Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dabangg 2 actor.

Sahdev considers himself lucky to have got a chance to be part of successful projects, be it on TV or films. “I have always preferred to go with the flow. I started in the times when we shot on high and low band with very basic equipments then gradually negative came followed by digital. At times, it feels, I have lived a rewarding life by just going with the flow and never quitting. Best of Luck Nikki successfully ran for five seasons that was unbelievable for all of us. Then, I got to work for the first of its kind show-based film Khichdi: The Movie that also holds a Guinness Record.”

Calling himself a completely family-oriented person, Sahdev tries taking one project at a time so that he is able to be home with loved ones. “For me family comes first and pandemic has strengthened my belief so at the end of the day it’s all about our close ones. On work front, I have just wrapped an untitled international film and now all my focus is on Crime Patrol 2.0 where I’ll be seen as SHO Ajit Singh.”
