KBC 13: Neena Gupta blames Amitabh Bachchan after she's forced to end game, says 'aapne baaton mein laga diya'
Neena Gupta was taken by surprise when the hooter on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 brought an end to their episode. The actor was seen participating on Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show along with her Badhaai Ho co-star Gajraj Rao.
During the episode, the duo answered 12 questions right, winning ₹12.50 lakhs. As the duo prepared for the 13th question, worth ₹25 lakhs, the hooter signalled the end of the episode.
A confused Neena asked Amitabh, "(What does this) mean?" Amitabh explained, "Yehi tha wo bayankar boppu (this was the scary signal I was referring to)." Gajraj told Neena that the hooter meant the show has ended. "Khatam kyun? Boppu kyun bajja? Humne toh koi galti hi nahi ki (Why did it end? We didn't do any mistake)," she asked Amitabh.
The actor resorted, "Humko kahe puch rahi hai? Humne thodi na bajaya hai (Why are you asking me? I didn't set the hooter off.)" Neena, still confused, asked the host to elaborate further. When Amitabh informed her that the episode has come to an end, Neena replied, "Toh aapne itne aur baaton mein laga diya... (You diverted us into talking about so many other things)," leaving the actor-host speechless and Gajraj in splits. Neena, after a pause, added, "Chaliye chodiye." Gajraj informed Amitabh that he and Neena had won more money than they had anticipated with one lifeline remaining, and we can blame the hooter for it.
As their final question of the show, Neena and Gajraj were asked to name the birthplace of G. D. Birla. Unsure of their answer, the duo decided to flip the question. They were then asked: Which actor's original name was Dharam Devdutt Pishorimal?
The options were: Uttam Kumar, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna and Guru Dutt. The answer was Dev Anand.
