All those anticipating some fashion faux pas can breathe easy. Day Four at Delhi Fashion Week delivered the goods.. literally. A model’s halter dress came undone during the Equate show by Sandeep and Gaurav.. luckily, the photographers only caught her bare back.

Oops!
Another malfunction occured on Surbhi Chawla’s ramp when a model’s sleeve slipped off her shoulder.
Apart from these incidents, it was a slow day. The Equate duo showcased satin sheaths with fading hexagonal prints, reminiscent of the football stains that covered our school uniforms on sports day. Chawla chose geometrical prints and thick knits in monochromatic hues. A black and white diamond printed woven dress was striking and season appropriate.
Rahul Reddy wowed the crowd again with his schoolgirl designs in lime and moss. Booties in sherbet colours literally blew the audience’s socks off.
Atsu displayed his keen sense of shape with relaxed fits in satin and silk. His tuxedo jumpsuit and camelia skirt suit had an almost Chanel-esque quality.
Birthday boy Savio Jon presented his line to a packed audience. Sheaths were held up with safety pins and oddly-placed zippers. While the collection essayed Jon’s bohemian vibe with confident drapes and fuss-free fabrics, the length didn’t seem in keeping with the season. But that seems to be a losing battle with Indian designers anyway..
