Kangana Ranaut said it, and now another fashionista in Bollywood, Monica Dogra, too, has given the film industry the 'unfashionable' tag. The actor-singer is launching her own fashion clothing and accessories line.

When we asked her if she thinks Bollywood is stylish, the actor said, “To be honest, not really. But it’s vastly improved in recent years,” she says. I think Sonam Kapoor has a great style sense. As far as the worst (worst dressed celeb in Bollywood) goes, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all — is what I’ve been told,” she adds.

A lot of actors announce their fashion lines, but very often one doesn’t get to hear about them after that.

However, Monica says, “I think it makes sense for celebrities to lend their persona to fashion, as they are constantly applauded or scrutinised for their appearance; but at the same time, you have to be dedicated to get something off the ground and I know from experience that balancing a thriving career lends itself to very little time.”

The idea of the fashion line, she says, stemmed from the fact that she has always been acknowledged for her unconventional style of fashion. “My line will reflect that,” she said.
