Think a pink suit is not your style? Sonam Kapoor will change your mind
Actor Sonam Kapoor proved the colour pink is fresh, defiant and even subversive by reinventing the most romantic of colours in her latest outfit. She worked an edgy three-piece — an oversize long coat, double breasted blazer and a pair of flared, culotte-style pants — in the most perfect shade of pink.
It’s safe to say that Sonam Kapoor will try any type of outfit once. From glamorous monochrome dresses to dazzling red carpet gowns, the actor consistently plays with texture, and she definitely doesn’t stick to one signature look. Her latest ensemble is complete confirmation.
On Tuesday, the Neerja star was promoting luxury brand IWC Schaffhausen in Geneva, showing off her bold, unexpected separates. Her Bouguessa three-piece outfit consisted of a double-breasted blazer, an oversize long coat — which Sonam wore unbuttoned — and a pair of flared, culotte-style pants. Underneath her ensemble, Sonam gave up a blouse to wear a peak-a-boo grey inner and added an extra-sweet touch to her outfit with eccentric red Marni earrings.
It was hard to ignore such a strong look, which, no doubt, her stylist, sister Rhea Kapoor, had a hand in creating. The stylish sisters have an eye on the latest trends, and wearing pink on pink is what every fashion girl will be doing in 2018. Plenty of style stars test drove the look already, and Sonam is all on board for the bright colour combination. We’re smitten — especially with her blazer.
Sonam played up the flirty, retro vibes with her burgundy suede Stuart Weitzman boots and matching burgundy lips that were the base of her tailored, but not stuffy, look. And while somehow her pieces came together to appear totally sweet, doesn’t she look like a femme fatale with those long loose waves and deep wine lip?

Sonam gave a masterclass in pink by slipping into an off-shoulder pastel-coloured tulle Victor and Rolf gown. Simple make-up, hair tied in a sleek bun, Repossi earrings and rings and IWC Schaffhausen watch rounded her romantic, ethereal and an effortlessly chic evening look.
