Nirmaljit Singh Narula, popularly known as Nirmal Baba, a self-proclaimed godman, has bought 6.1-acre land for Rs 21.12 crore at Bhondsi village in Sohna sub-division.

Narula on Thursday appeared at the authority office in Sohna, about 25 km from the Millennium City, to register the land.
He also deposited a stamp duty of around Rs 10.5 lakh to get the registration of land in his name in the revenue records.
He purchased the land from one Gaurav Gupta, who also owns a mall in Gurgaon. The land is located in Bhondsi, known for the Bharat Yatra Kendra set up by late prime minister Chandra Shekhar.
According to sources, Narula reached Sohna in a Toyota Innova car along with a handful of associates. He remained seated inside the car for most of the time and got out only to get his photograph clicked — a prerequisite for land registration.
