Leonardo DiCaprio just can’t get a break. Even after winning a much-deserved Golden Globe for his performance in The Revenant and delivering an environmentally conscious speech in full ‘serious actor’ mode, the internet couldn’t care less. What really amused the online masses, what really got their Twitter juices flowing was his priceless expression as Lady Gaga passed him on her way to the stage and his heartstring-tugging reunion with Titanic co-star Kate Winslet.

Now this next piece of information could quite possibly make you feel old, but it’s been almost 20 years since Titanic came out and transformed Leo into a beloved heartthrob. But now he’s a real actor, as is Kate Winslet, who also won a Globe for her performance in Steve Jobs.

Many years may have passed, but DiCaprio and Winslet are still the perfect pair. The last time they starred together was in 2008’s Revolutionary Road, a dour drama directed by Winslet’s ex-husband Sam Mendes. And looking at them now, it seems like it was just yesterday when the whole world was enthralled by Jack and Rose’s doomed love story.

Yes, it was an eventful day for Leo. He still doesn’t know, despite his best efforts, if his Globe win will have any impact on the Oscars, which have become his Moby Dick at this point. But his fans are certainly pleased. They got to see many sides of their favourite star. A proud actor, a bumbling goof and a loyal friend.
