Tonia Sotiropoulou, the third Bond Girl

The upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, has added Greek actor-model Tonia Sotiropoulou as the flamboyant agent’s girl, besides actors Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris.

The upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, has added Greek actor-model Tonia Sotiropoulou as the flamboyant agent’s girl, besides actors Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris.

Sotiropoulou was originally auditioned to play Marlohe’s character Severine, but director Sam Mendes reconsidered her to play another female character which will appear in an Istanbul scene, reported Ace Showbiz.

Sotiropoulou herself has confirmed the news on her Facebook page by writing, “Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J Bond new film. Turkey here I come! Thank you all for your love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life.”

in Turkey, where she will shoot two or three scenes over five days.

Judi Dench’s ‘M’ character to get killed off

Dame Judi Dench, who plays Bond’s boss, M, is said to be leaving the franchise, as her character will reportedly be killed in Skyfall. “We’ve just filmed M’s death scene. She is leaving the franchise,” the Daily Star quoted an insider on the set of the spy movie’s 23rd installment, as saying. The 77-year-old, has played M in eight films since her Bond debut in Goldeneye (1995).

Actor Ralph Fiennes, 49, who starred as Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter series, is set to play the new M.


Daniel Craig wants to play Bond forever

Actor Daniel Craig (below), 44, wants to play Bond for as long as he can. “I will keep going until they tell me to stop,” Craig, who reprises his role as the British spy for the third time in Skyfall, was reported as saying by BBC Online.
