Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and hubby, politician Raghav Chadha, have finally revealed the name of their baby boy — Neer — nearly a month after his birth. The couple welcomed their first child on October 20, 2025, and announced the news on Instagram with a sweet message that read, “He’s finally here! Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before.”
The name and the meaning behind it
Many had been eagerly waiting for the couple to share more details about their newborn, and the wait is finally over. Today, Parineeti and Raghav posted a serene picture on Instagram, giving fans a much-awaited first glimpse of their baby and revealing his name, Neer. Their joint caption read: “𝙅𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙖 𝙧ū𝙥𝙖𝙢, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙖 𝙨𝙫𝙖𝙧ū𝙥𝙖𝙢 — 𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙚𝙫𝙖 𝙉𝙚𝙚𝙧. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him Neer — pure, divine, limitless.”

From engagement to parenthood
Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in May 2023, at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. The couple later tied the knot in September 2023, at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, in a traditional ceremony attended by close friends and family.
They announced their pregnancy in August 2025 through a joint Instagram post that featured them holding hands, captioned simply with a heart emoji. Now, as Parineeti and Raghav begin a new chapter as parents, it looks like none of us can get enough of baby Neer.
